How EndoliftX® Treats Acne Scars
The doctor will use a very small fiber laser, inserting it into the subdermal layer beneath the acne scar to deliver laser energy.

Mechanical & Thermal Subcision
The fiber laser tip helps cut and release the fibrous bands that pull down acne scars. Once the fibrous bands are released, the skin in that area lifts immediately, making the scars visibly shallower.
Collagen Regeneration
Thermal energy stimulates micro-level skin repair, promoting the production of new collagen and elastin to replenish the skin’s structure from within, resulting in progressively firmer and smoother skin.
Acne Control
The heat from the laser helps reduce acne-causing bacteria and decreases sebaceous gland activity. This helps control excess oil and reduces the chances of recurring inflammatory acne in the long term.

Types of Acne Scars Suitable for EndoliftX®

Narrow, very deep acne scars may require additional techniques, such as TCA CROSS.

EndoliftX® Procedure Insert a fiber laser to release scar tissue point by point. The procedure takes approximately 30–45 minutes.
Post-Treatment Care Apply medication to reduce irritation. There may be slight swelling, but there will be no scabbing like with CO₂ laser treatment.
Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
Q: Will acne scars come back again?
A: Fascia release is considered a long-term treatment. The original adhesions will not reattach in the same location. However, the body may naturally form new adhesions over time. Repeating the procedure 1–2 times can help achieve even better results.
Q: Is a long recovery period required, or will the skin peel?
A: The upper layer of the skin is minimally affected, with no peeling or scabbing. You can wash your face and apply skincare as usual after 24 hours. There may be slight swelling for approximately 3–5 days.
Q: If I still have acne, can I undergo the treatment?
A: Yes, it can be done, as the laser energy helps reduce inflammation and acne-causing bacteria while simultaneously treating acne scars. This is different from some types of lasers that require waiting until the acne has cleared before treatment.
